CD Review - Bad Love Experience

Bad Love Experience are from Livorno, Italy. So why is Bristol Rocks reviewing their CD? Because they bothered to send it I suppose:)

Bad Love Experience play guitar based music, they are a three piece and they fall in to the catchall category of indie.

On my own is the first track on the CD, it is up-tempo, catchy and probably the best track on the CD, we like this track.

You held me tight is another high energy track, some tasty drumming going on in this one.
My place of Loneliness is a track that grows on you after a few listens, yes..good track.

Pissed Off is the second best track on the CD, Nice jangly guitar, good dynamic range.

No Control takes us back to the fast tempo track that the band excel at. If I ever find myself in Livorno I think that they would be great to catch live.

Not so far is more of the same, High energy, well played, good harmonies.

Going Nowhere has got more punch than a summer barbeque.

Just a minute ago is a bit heavy metal indie, is that a new genre....probably not. This is probably the most unique track on the CD with a splash of piano. This song shows that Bad Love Experience are capable of more interesting sounds, the piano and the rock riffs in my opinion make this the most commercial track. This is also the best track on the CD. Don't ask, I make the rules!

Play 'Just a minute ago'

Overall the album is well recorded, the only slight criticism that we have is that the vocals could have come up a touch in the mix.
