Profile

Emily Breeze (guitar and vocals), Dan Hunt (drums) and John E Vistic (bass) have an impressive sound which filled the Fleece with ease. They opened with an aggressive song which proved Emily’s reputation as a talented musician valid. Her almost menacing stage presents combined with the bands punk rock image worked well as they thrashed out every song with as much passion as Dot Branning has for chain smoking. There’s an underlying streak of rebellion to the snarled but powerful vocal performance which hits you like a speeding drunk rhino on heat. Escape was futile and pointless.

If you have yet to experience Emily Breeze stop reading this review, find out where she’s playing next and buy a ticket. Or look out for her new EP Badlands recorded by Stew Jackson and Dan Brown at Robot Club Studios soon to be released. You won’t be disappointed.
