Hailing from the historic city of Bath , Grand Rose Band (GRB) has been
sharing its energetic and near legendary live performance with audiences all
over the country. Incorporating the power and passion of Wreckless Eric ,
and the Pogues with the songwriting and musical strength of Nick Cave and
Neil Young and Crazy Horse , the band has formed a unique and exciting
sound.
Don’t just take my word for it:
“The band went crazy and the audience responded with head banging, smiles
and raucous applause. From the opening riff to the epic finale of ‘Rock and
Roll’ there was no let up. Catch this band now before they take over the
world with their mature, energetic, rock fuelled mayhem!”
– Live review on Moles.co.uk (supporting The Killers)
“Rock and Roll! Rock and Roll! ROCK AND ROLL!” goes the harmonized call to
arms at the end of the Grand Rose Band’s final song of the set, another new
band with the passion and energy to claim the honor of being a true Rock and
Roll band.”

Junxion 17 Magazine
“Cross Wreckless Eric, Crazy Horse and Motorhead and you’re halfway
there”, says the press. Add in Lloyd Cole and you’re a good deal closer,
says us. The Bathonians return home with their lightly countrified rocking
sounds and tales of drinking, love and murder, having taken up
near-residency at such London clubs as The Bordeline and The Windmill.

Venue Magazine’s RECOMMENDED GIGS
“Bathonians playing head swaying, REM style melodies with Led Zep/Bowie
undertones. Bristol should jump up and pay attention…. “
– Decode Magazine
“The Grand Rose Band has the growing and deserved reputation as one of
Bath’s best-ever bands for their songwriting as well as for their
performance”
– Charley Dunlap, Bath Chronicle
