Miss Black America |
CD Review by Steve from Bristol Rocks |

This is a band who know
what they are about.

There are two tracks on this CD
'Emotional Junkmail' and 'It's Alright'. 'EMOTIONAL JUNKMAIL' is just the sort of track that today's teenage kids can easily relate to. It talks about 'Broken Hearts and Broken Homes' and 'Just tell me what I want to hear, I need the easiest answer'. I work in a school and I think these lyrics sum up the mind-state of some kids I deal with. |

'ITS ALRIGHT' being an acoustic unplugged track lets you down gently from the might of the first track. It's very short, but if you listen carefully to the lyrics it's not sweet. Strong words but still a good track. |

Great Musicianship, Great Vocals. I read on their web site that they have had a fair amount of recognition and airplay. So listen out for more. There are two CD albums available on their site so click on the link below and check it out. |
