After grabbing significant attention
with the help of Jo Whiley's choice of record of the week, the sell
out gig was buzzing even before the band hit the stage. The
Yorkshire five piece band have been around for a while, supporting
the Enemy last year, deserve this break and look as if they will
carry on with style with chart success.
Mix up some rock, indie and rub in some synth and you get the big
sound of One Night Only, with tons of energy the crowd are jumping
around to the very first track. Lead singer George Craig maybe young
but oozes charm and belts out the lyrics with so much confidence you
cannot help but like the live performance. They really work the
crowd, haven’t seen the over the head clap in a long time, could
have been at a Simple Minds gig all those years ago!!!1
With a surprise Sugarbabes cover thrown into the mix, you cannot
help but admire the talent of a young band that mixes it up and
comes out tops. They left the record of the week to the last
blasting out "Just For Tonight" giving the fans a high at the end
and wanting more….
Coming up with a fresh new sound for the New Year they have put
their heart and soul into the performance, go and see them for
yourself.
