Ultranova have taken the all important British Mod scene and dragged
it kicking and screaming into a new, more electronic era. Hence,

Mods'. A term, coined by the band, to refer to themselves and their
fans alike.

Furry Animals, Kraftwerk, Gorillaz, E.L.O, Morrissey, Goldfrapp, The
Specials, Depeche Mode, Air, Blur, New Order, Daft Punk, Roxy Music,
Duran Duran, Erasure, William Orbit and The Beatles among many
others, some have said that Ultranova sound like a retrowave Aston
Martin tail-ending a psychedelic dance truck of experimentation.
