Chris Beckett: 1 to 1 Guitar and Vocal Tuition |
I teach guitar and vocals in the Bristol area. I've been established
for over six years, and teach one to one as well as workshops at the
Bristol Folk House.
Guitar: I teach beginners to advanced, covering finger style, slide,
lead and rhythm in both acoustic and electric. I have much written
material I use, but a student is welcome to bring in other material
(including your own compositions).

Vocal: complete beginners to advanced. I
teach by ear, covering note accuracy, timing, phrasing and
breathing. I develop my students to be able to sing indifferent
'textures' i.e. 'bluesey' 'smooth' 'breathy' and then to interpret
pieces using their singing palette. I also teach guitar and vocals
together for singer-songwriters (you're welcome to bring your own
songs)
