Old Tavern Re-opening 24th March 2007 |

The new owners of the Old Tavern have cleaned the place up and
are in the process of renovations. The bar is a much more pleasant
place now and a restaurant & function room are being constructed.
The new owners are very nice people with infectious enthusiasm for
their new project.
Psycho Delia Smith were asked to stand in at short notice for the
re-opening and the turn out was great with the pub crowded full. |

| The night was a success and everyone that I talked to was
impressed by the new look Tavern and the new owners. |

Simon is the music manager and he says that he is committed to
keeping live music at the venue. After the fist two Saturday gigs
there will be live music on Sundays and Wednesdays with the
Wednesday acoustic sessions starting in April.
Bristol Rocks recommends this venue as an excellent place to play
and watch live music, get along & check it out. Gigs will be listed
