Nikki Brooks is a freelance writer and photographer who has
worked for various magazines including Bassist (writing, music
transcriptions and photography), Bass Guitar Magazine (writing
and photography), Guitarist, Rhythm and Total Guitar.

Having obtained the ALCM performance diploma in pianoforte at the
age of 15 and the subsequent higher level of LLCM at 17, Nikki has
been involved in music for most of her life. She currently teaches
singing, piano/keys and bass guitar. Nikki also plays clarinet,
recorders and would like to learn cello sometime in the near future.

Nikki plays bass in a local blues/rock band called Uncensored who
gig at various local pubs and bike rallies, sometimes as far away as
Leicester. She is now looking for a musically proficient rock
covers band to front as lead vocalist, so she can live up to her
nickname of "Robert Plant with Tits". |
